We were staying at the Comfort Inn, Clifton Hill, so we were smack in the center of this tourist area for four days. Clifton Hill has many attractions. I went in May/June 2008 and during that time they had passes you could buy that gave you 5 or 6 different things to do, such as the sky wheel, ripley's believe it or not, mini golf, arcade, a moving ride in the arcade and so on. Clifton Hill is a good place to go if you want to visit tons of wax museums and attempt to make your way through the ridiculous crowds that gather there. There is nothing to see of value. This is just a tourist trap. more
