In Montreal, the Anglican Cathedral is known as the "church on stilts". In the '80's the cathedral was in dire need of money and, more or less, sold his whole land to a croporation that built the ugly skyscraper in the back (on De Maisonneuve street). This cathedral is the main Anglican church of the city. It was modeled after a church in London and looks to be a small quaint church. On the inside there is a nice altar and organ in the back of the church. You can't compare this church to the huge Notre-Dame, but it is gooid for just a short visit. more
