Even though we are Canadians and live a few hours drive from the ice walk it was simply excellent. Peter was funny and had a bundle of knowledge to share about the glacier and surrounding area. This was the best part of our trip to Canadian Rockies( Sep 2007). Its a 3 hr guided climb on the Athabasca Glacier. The experience was an eye opener as we understood the world of glaciers and global warming. My sister and I took the "Ice Cubed" 3 hour walk upon the glacier which was expertly guided and one of the most memorable part of my entire trip.
