This could very well be it. The collection is both broad and deep, ranging from Egyptian, Greek, and Roman antiquities to modern porcelain and ceramics. The painting collection is probably the most well known, with works by Titian, Rembrandt, da Vinci, Monet, Degas, and Picasso. The building itself is gorgeous. "Cute" is a good way of describing the Fitzwilliam. They have a few Egyptian artifacts, some Greek, couple of Elizabethian, you get the picture. It is a small museum that has a little of everything from the major periods. It's worth a look if only for 30 mins or less and besides, it's free. Cambridge is lovely but doesn't have... more
