I have a long story to tell but the basic complaints are they do not have enough buses, bad sound system, employees on the buses that do not care and are very misleading. We were in London in Sept. 2007 and booked a tour with the Big Bus Company. We experienced 3 tour guides, one of whom was excellent, one was average, and the other obviously hated her job. There was almost always a guide at one of the stops to help us choose where we were going. Got to know some of the guides who were lively and who were always happy to run into us for a second or third time. Used the bus as our main transportaion in London -and My Mom is 70 years old.... more

We prebooked tickest for the big Bus before leaving Australia. We joined the bus at Trafalgar Square and it took 45Mins before we were able to get upstairs.
