While I agree with the previous reviewers who comment on the museum's quality of exhibits, I was expecting a more thorough review of Britain's global imperial military history -- not a quick take on modern events. I went to this museum expecting nothing more than a few small exibits and some interactive displays, but was astounded by how interesting and large this place really was. It had artifacts from nearly every war you could think of, had displays of battle plans, real bombs and guns, actual V2 rockets, and Planes! It even had a real life... more

Apart from the regular exhibits the Imperial War Museum always seems to have interesting, well-presented special exhibits. A couple of years ago we say excellent exhibits on T.E.
