This was one of the highlights of our trip. We booked on the BA website and the cost was $60 for 3 tickets. 30 minute ride, fantastic view on a lovely day. Purchase the London 360 guidebook, a nice keepsake and tells you what you're looking at. Lines are long but it moves pretty fast. If you pre book you... more

I think that the london eye is really excellent, London had a beautiful sky line and I just like seeing things from high places anyway. I was there in December, before the school holiday started so it was really fast to get on. Also, there weren't many people in each car, but I don't know if come summer, where there... more

Great views and very interesting concept. Purchase your tickets online before going to avoid the very long lines, even in the morning. Also, watch the lines, the employees often move the line to avoid congestion and many people see this as an opportunity to line jump aggressively! more

Really good event to do if you are in London. Located by the River Thames so you have a beautiful view to the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, the town and the river. One thing I liked about it was that you got a time on your ticket where you should be there for the ride, which meant that I... more

I was glad that I went on the London Eye. You can get some amazing views of the city. I usually dont do good on high rides but it moves very slow and I felt very secure. Despite it being a little pricey, I'd say if you have the time to go on the eye. I didn't have to wait... more

I've lived in London for two years now and frankly speaking, the idea of spending 30 minutes on a giant Ferris wheel somehow didn't appeal to me at all (I also have a fear of heights). Was dragged along by some visiting relatives (yes, I did thank them for it afterwards). We'd gone on a weekend in April, a little... more

We were satisfied with our experience. Queued <10 min for tickets, when straight to boarding queue and waited < 5 mins. This was at 3:30 on a Monday afternoon. Felt bad for the couple people with fast track tickets as it seemed like a huge waste. Lots of construction cranes around London. Couldn't see Tower Bridge because two buildings under... more

I am a fan of cityscapes and panoramic views having already seen Paris, Las Vegas, New York and Shanghai from their highest vantage point. However, this was easily the worst experience of the lot. Why? 1) London itself is hardly as scenic as Paris or as dense as New York. 2) There was only a minimal amount of air-con in... more

I've heard stories of horrendous queues and a long wait to get on the London Eye so I don't know if we were just lucky because although we had pre-booked our tickets for 6pm we arrived late at 7:40pm they let us board the next available flight and the queue was almost non-existant (only about 20 people in front of... more

We enjoyed the London Eye today. We almost didn't stop because the line looked a bit long... but decided to go for it. This was on a Thursday around 6pm. We were in line no more than 7 mins. The line moved quickly. We didn't have the fast track/pass... just the regular tix that we bought on the spot. We... more
