We found our way to the George on a rainy Saturday evening. As the the downstair's bars were full and we were starving hungry, we headed to the restaurant. upstairs for "a treat." It a typical very old rustic English pub/restaurant (three rooms?) across the Borough Market. It has a fantastic old cobblestone courtyard. This place is a great visit combined with the Borough Market (considered yuppie but has the excellent foods, a fantastic Monmouth Coffee, meats, organic foods, vegetables, grains, etc).
