Horrible. Horrible out of context (and bland) architecture plonked down like a space ship in the middle of the city. The platz is too inward facing so the walls of the Sony centre make a great big blank, dull fortress like facade. Lots of horrible shopping. No atmosphere. Don't go here at nigth as you will wander from chain restaurant... more

At first when we went to Potsdamer Platz I didn't think there was too much to it, but it was one of those places that we kept going back to as we realised there was more to it than we originally thought and it is nice at night when all the lights can be seen clearly. I was very impressed by these huge buildings. They are all designes by well known architects like Renzo Piano. Very nice how Berlin has re-invented the Potzdamer Platz! Will defenitely become ithe hart of the city in the near future. more

I love the airiness of this place. The modern architecture is very impressive yet cosiness is also created. Many leafy trees soften the coolness of glass and metal. Beautiful! more
