This monument is awe inspiring and well worth the effort to visit. It is easiest to visit from Madrid at the same time as you visit El Escorial.A bus runs you to the monument and after about 40 minutes takes you back.Although controversial with the Spanish because of the link to Franco it is breathtaking in its scale and sculptures.A... more

Amazing monument located close the Escorial Palace. Built by Franco and for himself, this site will take your breath away with its majestic and huge rock sculptures. Do not miss it. more
