We arrived early (about 11:30) for the ceremony and were able to get a perfect spot. By noon when it began it was quite crowded. The best part about the Swedish Royal Palace was the changing of the guard. It takes an hour and involves quite a few horses. It starts around Noon. You can also see the Royal Apartments. I didn't find the royal apartments that impressive. Nothing about the room decoration or the furniture made me say wow. more
