The Obecni Dum is absolutely beautiful and the tour, although brief allows you to see some of the gorgeous rooms. We had a drink in the American bar in the basement, which I thoroughly recommend - it is a gem of art nouveau and the drinks are reasonably priced. Had a superb meal, staff did seem efficient but not over friendly, the cleanliness is brilliant, the atmosphere is grand, we did tip the waitress about 150 corunas. Next day went back for another meal and the service was fantastic, every body was polite and friendly, music from saxophonist & pianist. Yes 4 English guys who wanted to see Prague... more
