Walk from Salwator tram is all uphill. Get bus 100 or 101 and walk back (down hill) Walk was worth it as the view from the top of the mound is sensational (was a clear day) We got bus 101 back down to the river (opposite castle) The views over Krakow are brilliant. It also blows the cobwebs away. more

Easy to get to - take the number 1, 2 or 36 tram to Salwator then follow the second road on the right, up through the trees to the mound. Once you get there it costs 6pln to trace your way around the mound to the summit. The views are stunning. There is a cafe on the site, if you... more
