We just returned from a Carnival cruise where we participated in the South Island Canopy tour. It was the highlight of our cruise. We did not book the tour through the cruise line as it was not on their shore excursion list. We booked this excursion ahead of time through Shoretrips.com. We recently visited Roatan, on Carnival Cruise Lines in November, and couldn't have been more thrilled. Roatan is beautiful. The zip line was an exhilirating experience. Everyone was very friendly, and everything appeared very safe. Our excursion started with a short and scenic taxi (very old 8 passenger van) ride to our starting point. I recently visited Roatan while on the Rhapsody of the Seas. We had booked our tour through Janelle at Tropicalrez before boarding on the ship. November 2006 - Roatan - Go to South Island Tour for Canopy "zip-line" tour. From the Cruise pier walk through the gate and ask for Margot in the kiosk across the street.
