I'm a good bargainer. However, many sellers at Patpong night market simply refuse to go below "rip-off" prices. It's ridiculous. Instead of bargaining properly, the sellers often make an angry face and say, "NOOOO" and then rudely wave you away. I think too many tourists have spoiled the sellers in Patpong. That was my first and last time there. more

Patpong Night Market (also called Silom night bazaar) is situated in the middle of Patpong bars. Yes, literally, in the middle... bars on either side, and the middle of the road has been converted into a shopping market. Patpong is a fantastic market for all of your replica items. from bags, watches t & co jewlerry, this market is great. lots of people be wary of your bags at all time. definitely worth a look. start up around 8 - 9 pm and is open till about midnight. more

We just got back from bangkok, went to patpong night market. it was a nightmare. the sellers were so bad and so rude, i couldn't believe it.we were not expecting it to be that bad, but it was disapointing, it almost runed our nice trip to thailand. i would not recomend this market to anyone visiting bangkok. go to mbk... more

This place is the type of place where you go to be shocked (unless your one of those obnoxious 'nothing shocks me' people) and at the same time get a bargain buy. Try this on for size (pardon the pun) Cheap, fake, everything from leather goods to watches, clothes to weaponry. Some imitations good, some not so good. One thing... more
