We went there at the end of April. Lek - you have done a fantastic job, need not say any more. If only there were more people like you in Thailand. The volunteers and staff at the park do a fantastic job too, special mention to Chai and Earn, who both did well to keep us entertained during the Q&A... more

My wife and I visited the Elephant Nature foundation park for a day in March 08. I am the big elephant fan but my wife loved the park too. My only negative comment is that I think there is too much down time in the afternoon while we went on a walk around the park. But the park is not... more

All I can say is that this was one of the best experiences I have ever had. The elephants were gorgeous and we had so much time to interact with them including hand feeding and washing in the river - I even got a kiss from Hope - the naughty elephant! The staff were informative, fun and doing such a... more

I was worried I had made a mistake after reading negative posts prior to my departure to Thailand. Now, afterwards, I cannot understand where those negative posts were coming from. This was one of the most incredbile experiences. My husband and I were very moved by this place, and we now feel that we would like to do more to... more

What can I say except - wow! We'd read tripadvisor reviews before going and I cannot possibly see where the couple of bad reviews came from! To see elephants in an enviroment like this, where they are cared for and seem to be happy, is amazing. Just seeing them wander past all day is amazing in itself. Many of these... more

I was at Elephant Nature Park in January 2008, and it was one of the highlights of my month long stay in Thailand. Some of the reviewers complain about the "crowds" of people, but what they fail to take into consideration is that a project of this nature will experience growing pains, but only if they are successful, and that's... more

Just over 12 months ago I was privledged to spend a week in heaven.... whilst others may prefer to relax and find peace in a spa resort of thailand I found an inner calm through wading in mud planting food, shovelling elephant pooh, clearing rubble, cooking - and knowing that my efforts were allowing a park which is necessary able... more

Wonderful, inspiring experience for me, my husband & 18 year old son. The activities were fun even collecting their tonnes of food. The highlights were feeding the elephants, walking with them down to the river and washing/splashing them. I even got a kiss from one (like being sucked by a vacuum cleaner hose). The staff were clearly devoted to the... more

Elephant Nature Park was a great experience. We took the one day tour (Learning Elephant) and we really enjoyed it. The park is dedicated to helping elephants in need, and also to educating people about the plight of the elephant in Thailand. Lek, the founder, is doing good work, and has obviously given her heart to this project. On the... more
