I visited the zoo on the 24/06/08. We had not heard of it but came across it and went in for 10p. As always the harrasment came from the workers. The lions were tormented and the staff seemed to have there own little buisness charging you for a pic with the animal, this was very discreet of course. People had... more

I was appalled with the condition and treatment of the animals here. The gardens are ok, but the animal cages etc are a disgrace. The local children have great fun taunting the animals by rattling the cages or throwing things at them. It's no wonder that the zoo is not advertised to tourists. I would not recommend anyone to visit... more
