Despite being constantly crowded, Karnak temple was the crown jewel of Thebes and is still an amazing place. Its immense size, its age and its amazing artwork makes it a landmark of human history. You can easily spend a whole day there and still haven't seen it all. Words cannot describe the grandeur of this place; the only real downside... more

i love egypt, and this was the topping on the cake. even though this was my first time ever going, and i plan on going again. i loved walking around and looking at all the heiroglyphics. if you are only in egypt for a little while, this place should be on the top of your to-do list. more

I stayed in Luxor for 2 weeks in May 2006 and visited Karnak Temple twice. It was so interseting to walk around, everything has been kept so well. We spent two whole days there and did not get bored at all. There are the huge monumnets and then the ones that are broken they have placed in rows on the... more

Karnak in all it's splendor is not to be missed. How could you come all the way to Luxor and not go there. The columns, the colors, breathtaking.
