“Best museum in South America!”

This is one of those little treasures you don't expect to find in South America. The museum was fantastic! It's a private museum run by the family of the archaeologist and founder. They have a collection of about 45,000 pre-Columbian objects including a spectacular Erotic Gallery featuring ceramics in all sorts of positions. It's definitely a must see!! more

After two visits to Lima I can safely say I have seen the majority of the tourist attractions listed in the guidebooks and in the locally-distributed flyers for tourists.
