Each Saturday morning, artisans and artists gathered in Ciudad Vieja (down on calle Sarandi). My son and I had a wonderful time even though we arrived a bit late. We had the opportunity to listen to a Candombe group sing and dance. It was so contagious that everyone at the plaza and on the streets was singing and dance to... more

Ciudad Vieja (Ancient City) combines an amazing history and a great present. You can walk during the day streets made of "adoquines" (stones) and enjoy several historical buildings such as El Cabildo, La Iglesia Matriz, El Club Uruguay, La Plaza Matriz.
