yes, this place is the pits in regards to lodging and food, but it is worth it for the surrounding natural beauty. As far as the food goes, I look at this place as a "fat farm" - great place to lose a few pounds. the kids can run wild and they are safe, that alone is worth the price... more

I've seen many tours of O'Keeffe country written in books and online but don't expect there to be too much going on in this beloved location of the great artist. Supposedly we were offered a "group rate" for $97/ per person. Turns out the rooms let for $90 for the first person, $40 for the second, and $10 for each thereafter.
