We really loved shopping here. The atmosphere was great (away from hectic streets) and although vendors did the typical calling out to everyone who passed by their stalls, they were actually very pleasant to deal with. Attention shoppers! If you like to get a good deal on a variety of things...bedcovers, table linens, clothing, I would recommend this place. We were able to bargain easily with the merchants up to 50% of their asking price. Amazing! more

Great place to shop for exclusive handicrafts from artisans gathered from all over India. You can get pashminas; embroidered/silk clothes, linen; paintings; paper-mache stuff; crafted wooden stuff; hand made jewellery; bronze/copper/tin stuff. Everything at one place. I was recently in Delhi on a business trip and had very little time to shop. I went to Dilli Haat one evening on the recommendation of a co-worker. You pay 15 Rs to enter the market, which is state controlled. There are dozens of market stalls with everything ranging from pashmina shawls, paintings, jewelery to Kashmiri rugs and bangles.... more
