I quite by chance managed to spend a week in Ranthambhore Bagh. This is a home away from home and run by the "Tiger Expert" Dicky Singh and his charming wife Poonam. The Food is just out of Mom's kitchen and the hospitality superb. For wildlife if you have Dicky Singh with you, it becomes an unfair advantage as his... more

I have placed an overall experience of "Above Average" as you have to take into consideration the location. Yes there are power cuts and the accommodation is basic, but what do you expect in the middle of a National Partk. We had three great safari and saw the Tigers in their natural habitat. The staff are very helpful and willing,... more

We went to Ranthambhore N.P. for the tiger viewing, and had heard some tales beforehand of people going on 7 or more drives and having not seen one, so on our first drive we felt lucky to have found one. In total we did 5 drives having a total of 7 sightings, which is exceptional. 2 of these sightings were... more

This was the first of four tiger parks we visited in India this year. The park mgt. seems to put the $$$ and the amount of visitors they can get into the park everyday priority over the needs of nature itself. It is amazing that the tigers themselves put up with all the chaos, noise and pollution. We were "lucky"... more

We had a wonderful two night stay at the dev Vilas in Ranthambore National Park. The staff hospitality is wonderful and we enjoyed two jeep safaris, relaxing by the pool in the warm day-time sun, pre-dinner conversation by the fire pit with other adventurers, laundry service at the end of our trip, delicious meals, a great view and sunset, pre-dawn... more

We went to Rathambore with our 7 year old and our 2 year old. The Pugmark hotel is very basic but very nice. The staff are very knowledgable and gracious. We stayed in one of their tents. It was quite cold at night but they have electrical heaters. I would say that it is a bit tough for young ones.... more

This is an amazing place with great scenery. There are a range of Safari vehicles from Jeeps through to something that look like large open top bus. The Jeeps are much more comfortable. The terrain is steep, rough, stony and (in March) very dusty. There are numerous roads through the Park, so the vehicles all head off on their own... more

We spent two days in a beautifull and peacefull environment! It was great to rest a while from noise, dust and touring. We saw a great variety of animals and birds and were succesfull in watching 2 tigers. The canter safari vehicles do not allow a close contact with nature. our second safari with a jeep, a driver and a... more

It's wonderful to see the tiger habitat and the rich variety of animals and birds--even if you don't catch a glimpse of a tiger. The canter safari vehicles are not actually a bad way to view wildlife. They are open on top, which allows you to see all around. Be warned that it is very cold in December at 6... more
