I travelled to Bali nearly nine years ago and stayed at several places moving to a different location every couple of days. We travelled to Lombok with a driver we hired and then horse drawn carriage to the bay where we then jumped on a boat over to Gili Trawangan. Sunrise is an idyllic hotel on the beautiful island of Gili Air, just off the coast of Lombok. A friendly, wonderful place to spend eternity.... Heaven on earth???? Sign me up. Come here if you want to relax.... We stayed in one of the beautiful 2 story traditional thatched rice barns just footsteps from a lovely beach with wonderful snorkeling.... more
