NOT TO BE MISSED! Take the earliest ferry (from B.A.) possible and enjoy the few quiet hours in this absolutely peaceful setting before the onslaught of tourists arrive arround noon...not that this place ever seemed over crowded. We walked all over Colonia last month. The Barrio Historico is only about 10 blocks square. The town is utterly charming. All the streets are lined with beautiful sycamore trees.
