A great museum to learn about the history of Texas, and the history of the United States. The IMAX theater is a great place to catch an interesting documentary or the latest 3D movie. We love this place! more

An excellent museum - one of the best I have visited. Very interesting and well presented history with plenty to hold the interest of adults and children. Do not miss the Spirit Theatre as it is a real fun presentation. You will be able to spend one to three hours depending on your interest level more

We visited in May with a 4 y.o. and a 6 y.o. We all had a great time although the museum was very crowded with school trips. The museum is very large and well planned. It's not just historical artifacts in little glass cases...it's very visual. Different areas have little alcoves showing short films about subjects. Both the IMAX and... more

What would you expect from the state with the richest and most interesting history of any state? The history of the great State of Texas deserves such a place...and such a place would not be right anywhere else. Go see it! more

A nice sampling of Texas history but something felt like it was missing. Interesting anyway- worth the trip. IMAX theatre inside. more
