We loved our visit to Tanah Lot. The setting is amazing. It was definitely in our top 2 temples that we saw on our trip. Be sure to be there during low tide so you can get close to the temple. On the upper level, you can get your picture taken with a boa constrictor - turned out to be... more

The day we visited it was cloudy,so missed th sunset. And it was low tide,so the temple was not surrounded by water,which happens in high tide. The temple is very nicely located. There are a number of eating places on top of the hill over looking the temple,which is great palce to sit in the evening. Work was going on... more

Famous Tourist Spot in Bali. The Thana Lot Tempele is visited by hundrets of tourists every day by sunset around 6 pm. A wonderful photo motive. more

Tanah Lot contains 3 main attractions. There is a really small cave that contains a sacred snake that you can pet for good luck. Unfortunately the snake is tucked away behind rocks so you can only see a small portion of its body. You can cross over from the snake cave to the temple but beware of the tide water... more
