We were impressed with the falls - who wouldn't be, but we had to struggle as we felt that we were grossly overcharged by Wow Argentina. They charged us a huge amount of money for very little services. Our advice to others - make your own arrangements. more

I noticed most of your reviews mentioned staying on the Argentina side of the falls.I am an American living in Rio de Janeiro.(Retired). We go there often on Brazilian side. The airport on the Brazilian side is less than 10 miles from the falls. There are great hotels & restraunts in Foz do Iguacu. From your hotel there you can... more

What an amazing location.... Makes Niagara seem soooo small. I stayed in Puerto Igauzu. Took the local bus out for 2 consecutive days. Really glad I had the extra day as had a much more relaxed pace on day 2. Was able to just sit back and wait for tour groups to pass and thus get some viewpoints almost to... more

We visited Iguazu falls Jan.18-20th 08. Booked the tour from Buenos Aires through B.A. Private Tours and would gladly recommend them as the Air & Hotel arrangments were good and about 1/3 of the price of a similar tour through our cruise line. Two of our party had very limited mobility but were still able to view the falls via... more

Iguazu Falls in Argentina was a great experience. The Falls are magnificent and hiking the trails to view the Falls was great. We took the Gran Aventura Green Passport tour and thoroughly enjoyed it. The 1st part of the tour is riding in a big 4X4 truck through a jungle (didn't see much), but next you take a powerboat up... more

Amazing place - just spectacular! We stayed at the Sheraton on the Argentine side and had a great view of the falls and a Toucan (a rare sight thanks to the helicopters!). Take the tour through the jungle to the river and get one of the boats to the base of the falls - it's just amazing to see them... more

What an amazing place... It is well worth making sure you see the falls on both the Argentine side and the Brazilian side. There is loads to do and see. Everytime you move the falls look different. more

We spent five days near Iguazu Falls at Jungle Lodge which is a fantastic place--small with the jungle and river behind our lodge and a deck to sit there and watch the butterflys go by. Just beautiful. We got a guide Lucas Antuna who was fabulous. First, we told him we wanted to speak Spanish most of the time and... more

I visited Iguazu Falls mid November 2007 with my husband and friends. We all stayed overnight at the Sheraton Hotel, the only hotel on the Argentinian side, right on the park grounds. That would be the only reason to stay there because the place desperately needs updating. We were nevertheless glad that we stayed overnight because on our first day... more

We had an absolutely amazing time at the falls. Take the time to hike out to the island...it was our highlight. Every fall, every viewpoint, every minute proved to be priceless. I am so glad we did BOTH the Brazilian and Argentinean sides of Iguazu. more
