This is our 2nd time going to Discovery Kingdom ( June 11) and it's fun but it's hard with little kids if you don't go during there busy season. We like to go before the kids are out of school on a week day but the only problem with that is that the kiddy rides are limited to the staff on... more

Our family of two adults, an 11 year old, and a 3 year old, visited Six Flags Vallejo a week ago. First of all, the admission price was $42 for adults (plus a local Vallejo tax); the 11 year old is an "adult" since she's> 48" tall; child for $30. The rides are okay, the animal shows just okay.... more

Im writing this so people can know about the great animal shows at this park that is the highlight of the park!! People can go on rides anywhere. We even got to touch an elephant!! With no extra charges remember this is a Six Flags which does remind you from parking 15 dollars to eating, 2 people around 25 dollars... more

While in Sonoma for a weddng we were looking for a fun day activity for the kids. After reading all the horrible reviews, we almost didn't go to Discovery Kingdom... but I am SO glad we did. The kids had a wonderful time. There was a great mix of activities for everyone -- thrill rides, three separate younger kid areas... more

First off: This is not the former Marine World. It hasn't been that park in almost 4 years, so don't think it is. There is no water-ski show, the animal shows are simply shows for those who don't ride the rides. Most of the workers (during summer months) are local high school and college kids, so most are temporary and... more

Visited the Vallejo location on June 28th 2008. Has the WORST burrito of life. AND, it cost $6.00! It was actually two notches below the Taco Bell bean and cheese burrito. It was made from canned tomatoes (I saw the big tomato can in the kitchen!). Simply put the darn thing tasted of chemicals and preservatives. Papa John's pizza was... more

My 11-year-old son, husband, and I just got back from Discovery Kingdom. We were concerned after reading a lot of very bad reviews of the place, but decided to go with lowered expectations. We really had a nice day (and we are not really into the theme park scene). We were able to park on the street and walk in... more

Before I get started, let me make clear that I was a 'regular' (for about 17 years) at the former Marine World/Africa USA park, both in its original location in Belmont and before Sick Flags turned their Vallejo location into a horrible travesty of the original park. This is going to color my impressions. Now, with that said, even trying... more

went the week before spring break. weather was perfect and the park was clean and relatively empty. we were able to get on rides with minimal wait - this included all the big attractions such as medusa, kong, v2, etc. the downside was that many rides were not open because the park was empty. we bought tickets online which saved... more
