I went skiing at Copper Mountain in December 2006. As a beginner, my friends and I signed up for Ski Shool. Boy, were we glad we did that!! Our motto was "I will not let the 5 year olds intimidate me!" and we spent our first day on the mountain on the bunny slopes learning the fundamentals. more

The Tubing Hill is so scary! We chose this resort versus the other one in Colorado which has tubing lanes because the lanes were longer and have varying degrees of pitch (some slower, some faster lanes). The problem is - they ice down the lanes so when you go down (even the slow lane) you go very fast and fly... more
