I went to Typhoon Lagoon on 7/5/08 and it was very crowded. I liked that they offered free parking (although having a premium pass I didn't need one) but you have to rent a towel if you don't bring one. The cost of towel rental is $1. I know its cheap but its almost so cheap its unnecessary. Locker rentals... more

We had been to water parks elsewhere but never one in the USA. As we went in February, BB was closed for refurbishment, Aquatica was not yet opened so it was going to be Typhoon Lagoon. TL opened in 1989 and in overlooked by Mount Mayday which has a shrimp boat on top that shoots water fountains from its funnels.... more

With family in town we decided to make a trip to one of Orlando's water parks for the day, but couldn't decide which one would be best for our group. We had 2 adults, 2 teenagers, and 2 other children ages 9 and 6. Our first pick was Aquatica since it was brand new and looks very nice on TV.... more

After spending days trying to decide which water park in Orlando to go to, my husband decided on Typhoon Lagoon. We got there just after the park opened at 9am and were very excited to see there was no charge for parking. We decided to get a locker since we knew we would be up and about all day and... more

The whole family loved it. So much to do. The wave pool is great with huge waves. The chance to snorkel/swim through the shark tank was unique and interesting. They had a lot of slides for the whole family, as well as good thrill rides. more

Disney always seem to do things so much better. the park is clean and tide park is large enough not to seem busy (unlike aquatica which is way to small) lines are never to long CRUSH N GUSHER IS THE BEST WATER... more

My boyfriend and I (in our 20s) went to Typhoon Lagoon on Sunday, June 1st and had a great time! We got there as soon as the park opened and we were pleasantly suprised that they don't charge for parking! We found our seats near the wave pool but all of the seats under the umbrellas were already taken in... more

In 2 previous posts I was somewhat critical of the Magic Kingdom and our hotel the Disney Wilderness Lodge. The third part of our visit was Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. I will say that this was the best part of our entire trip. My son and I went and arrived a little after the park opened at 10 AM.... more

Ive been here loads of times and it really is a great day out. Disney always seem to do things so much better. Ive been to water parks all over the place all round Europe and really the Disney ones beat them all. The wave pool is excellent, its proper waves, not the little things you get at other water... more

We had a great time at Typhoon lagoon! Our six year old LOVED the wave pool and the "Crush-n-Gusher" water slide. We did all the water slides and the lazy river but came back over and over again to the wave pool. The six foot wave goes every 90 seconds. It was great fun and never got boring. The lines... more
