My five-year-old daughter and I went to White Water on Friday, Aug. 8, 2008 -- the last operating weekday of the season. Given the date, I was expecting a larger-than-usual weekday crowd and I was not disappointed. However, what I wasn't expecting was for nearly half the park not to be operating. The Rapids, The 100 Meter Splash, The Gulf... more

We went to White Water today (8/16/08) and everything was open and clean. There were long lines on some rides, but no more than typical. Getting there first thing when they open is a blessing as the lines move pretty well until about 1:00 PM. Why was this a timing thing? If you read the last 2 reviews, they went... more

My husband and I just moved to the Atlanta area recently and we thought we'd try the Six Flags White Water park today. My husband took the day off of work because it was the last day of summer break for our three children and we didn't want to tackle the weekend crowds. We purchased our tickets at Publix grocery... more

I took my 9 year old daughter for her birthday and we went on the river ride. We waited in line for over and hour to get on. When we approached the top the rafts were coming up the convyer and that got stuck. Next thing you know the rafts were catapultted out of the chute and one was headed... more

I went to white water with some friends and family several times in 2007 and had a great time each time. One of our friends had a small accident and the response from the life guards and first aid staff was quick, helpful and friendly. Yes, it is $36.00 to enter, but when you consider all the rides and attentive... more

Overall, the kids will probably like it, but the adults won't. The good: Lots of rides and options for different ages. The bad: Lots of lines, expensive, crowded (and we went on a cloudy day) and they nickel and dime you for everything. White Water is about 10 min. off I-75 just outside I-285 on the north end of Atlanta.... more

I took my two 8 yr old nieces and fourteen year old nephew to the park this june 2007. It was a Saturday and terribly full and parking was difficult to find with nobody to point out the empty spaces. Once we were in we headed to the "wave" pool. They went in and within minutes came out, all three... more

I got a season pass for the 2005 season. The Park is beautiful and has great rides. The One Problem is that you can't wear T-Shirts on body slides. I asked the, why and one said "It will make you go slow". the other said "you just cant go on". I have a freash scar on my back and it... more

We had a good time. Lockers were too expensive for the size. Not enough slides for the younger set. White Water in Branson, MO, lets younger kids go down all of the slides as long as they have a life jacket on. When you have a group with all different ages, someone is always sitting around waiting for the others.... more
