Even young kids with some degree of curiosity about ancient cultures will love this place. The visitors center has a nice film that summarizes the history of the place in about 15 minutes. Ok, to be fair, I majored in anthropology and archeology in college, so this place was of special interest to me. However, my kids and husband found it interesting too. I thought the interpretive center was the best museum of Native American culture I have ever seen. There is a movie telling about the mounds and after it is over... more
