Not a safe family environment. Very sad to see an Iowa State Park in such horrible disrepair. The grounds, lake and buildings are absolutely filthy, not to mention very dangerous due to the fact that no one seems to be maintaining the property at all. The neighborhood seems to be a litte rough and definately no one is taking pride... more

My family recently stayed at the Lake Manawa campground. It was in no way a good experience for us. I am really sadden that a Iowa state park was in such bad shape.
