We are fans of Baseball but not avid, so we thought we would have a look see when in Louisville. As mentioned before the later tours involve and empty production area but I still found it fascinating. I did like the fact that they have all the Major league signatures on templates ready to put onto bats (I always wonder... more

This tour is indeed a good tour. However, I would caution anyone who is looking for information about the tour to check carefully before you fork over the $10/adults $5/kids for this tour. During several SCHEDULED TOUR HOURS there is NO BAT PRODUCTION TAKING PLACE ON THE FACTORY FLOOR. What do you see? VIDEO of bats being made. BY UNION... more

This was a great experience. My 9-year old daughter is a fast pitch softball player and was fascinated by the factory and the museum. The tour was very interesting and it was great seeing the factory in production. To see the lathes working was great. They also have a display of presidential signatures on baseballs that was very cool. We... more

Call what it really is, a computerized lathe and a sales display. A waste at $9 each for a 20 min tour. No depth to the museum, just displays you could find at D&B's or Sports Authority. We were out of there in 35 minutes and I am a avid baseball fan. more

Being in the wood working industry the machinery and processed of the factory simply astounded me, but the history present during the tour and in the museum is something that is worth the cost of admission. Be sure to go when the plant is up and running because this will be the best part of the attraction. more

We found the museum tour to be really enjoyable, and was worth the time and money. We went right when they opened in the morning, and there was plenty of parking in the ramp attached to the building. The factory tour was a real factory tour, not just a pretend tour. (I was a little amazed that they did not... more

I am not really a sports fan and do not know much about baseball but I really enjoyed this. I never knew so much went into the making of bat. Very educational and enjoyable. You can even try out the batting cage in the back of the museum after you're done. We also got mini-sluggers with the tour. I definitely... more

If visiting Louisville the Slugger Museum is a nice way to spend a couple of hours. The museum is nicely done inside a restored old building. While not a huge baseball fan I still enjoyed my visit and the baseball factory tour was my favorite part. more

There is a lot to see at Louisville Slugger Museum. Do not over look the Roberto Clemente exhibit that is on loan from the Smithsonian Institute. In fact, that alone is worth visiting this amazing house of baseball. more

This is a very awesome museum to see. I must say that there was no handicapped parking spots left, but the parking attendant actually moved her vehicle to let us use her space. The factory tour was informative, and we actually got to touch some of the major leaguers bats. The factory was a little warm, but it was worth... more
