Just returned from a wonderful ski trip in South Lake Tahoe. Skiing is awesome, the town is awesome but this hote is terrible. No one in the entire organization is up to speed on anything. Stayed at the Horizon a year ago. Rooms were descent but I had money stolen from my room. The Horizon does not provide in-room safes so when I returned from skiing, money was taken out of my coat pocket. Come to find out the friends we went with also had money stolen from their room. My husband and I got married in South Lake Tahoe back in June. We chose this hotel for our parties to stay at since it's conveniently close to where our wedding ceremony and reception were held.
