We hadn't been to the museum for a couple of years and were pleasantly suprised by how fresh it looked and how much our kids enjoyed it. We attended a 4 year olds' great birthday party here. Lots of fun for little ones-- they liked the fire engine, the dress up in the castle, and the little grocery store especially. Plan to spend at least two hours~ bring your camera! Their website is njcm.com. more

Sadly, like a lot of other children's establishments, this was probably nice when it opened. Somewhere along the line the owners of such places need to realize that you need to REFURBISH and REPLACE. I have gone to the Children's Museum 3 times in the last 2 years - each time found it more disappointing. This is more of an expensive play area than a museum. There are fire engines to climb on, and fake caves and a castle to walk into, but few interactive, learning activities. I expect more for the $8 entry.... more
