As a UK expat living near the Falls this is a personal review. I love the place. It is 'tacky' with huge casinos, rip off restaurants and streets of 'hokey' amusements. The state park in Niagara Falls, NY is a great place to visit. It is very scenic with walking trails, gardens and overlooks to both the American and Canadian falls. The falls are something you HAVE to experience in person. Pictures, videos, etc. just don't cut it. But here is some friendly advice to help make your trip more enjoyable and know what to expect.
