This Museum focuses mainly on the Soul aspect of Rock n Roll, it gives you a great history in the way Soul music formed all around the World. Rock artists are also featured here. Good value for money & a nice place to check out. more

The Museum is great if you want the history of Soul, it shows the roots all the way back to the black slaves, but the only Rock is Elvis. Fantastic display of the true history of rock and roll. This is a must see for EVERYONE who listens to music. There is all this extra music you can listen to as you walk around the museum. Worth every penny and then some. more

Was pleasantly surprised to see all of the Al Green memoribilia. Other than an Elvis jump suit, the American Bandstand podium is also located there (which I considered a Smithsonian quality item). If you are going to Memphis and you are interested in Blues, Rock or Soul then don't miss this museum. I spent a half day in there and my Wife had to drag me out. more
