This mountain park is next to the Mount Rogers National Recreation Area in the Jefferson National Forest. This area is well worth repeat visits. A days loop hike will allow you to take in most of the views and high country high points but it would be easy to spend a week exploring the multitude of trails in this small... more

Grayson Highlands, Virginia’s vertical SP, is the first park I have visited that has horses and cattle. It’s real secluded. There are some really nice picnic spots next to bluffs.
