I visited the Fine arts museum the last week in May and I found it very much worth the time and money. I paid $23 for admission to the muesum and for the El Greco exhibit. Since I paid extra for El greco I went thru that exhibit first. El Greco gallery was very exquisit and interesting, I thought it... more

If you're not a museum "type" then you probably won't appreciate this place. It's huge and takes a lot of time to see. My feet were killing me and I didn't even get to all the galleries, yet I was there roughly from opening time (10am) to about 2pm. I went on a weekday, and there were a lot of... more

We recently went to see the Edward Hopper exhibit at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. We arrived via the Green Line... more

We were there to see the Ansel Adams exhibit, which was quite excellent. If you go, I'd recommend taking one of the complimentary tours they offer on the hour. The... more

The advantages and enjoyable aspects of the Museum of Fine Arts are many: it is open 7 days a week (late on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday), has collections of all cutures, from Ancient Egypt to the present day, and many of the galleries are very attractive, though construction work means that some sections are closed. There is also has quite... more
