Elfreth's Alley is nothing remarkable to look at, it's a short row of quaint houses. Claimed to be the oldest continuously residential street in the nation. If you visit the Besty Ross House, you may as well walk another block or so and visit the oldest street in the nation (so they say). It's a short block of old houses that have been renovated, and also a museum. It also has.... a gift shop. more
