It is a great park to hang out and relax in, maybe to have a picnic in or take the kids to. The ring fountains are fun, especially on a hot day. But as for things to do for tourists, it doesn't have much to do. The CNN Center is near by but that is about it. more

Its fun to see the water features and the olympic themed statues and its worth a walk through if you are in the area. But certainly not worth a special visit. If you spend an hour (tops) you will have seen everything to see. more

For Final Four weekend, Centennial Olympic Park was absolutely hopping - there was a concert stage set up and people were milling about all of Saturday and Sunday. Centennial Park in itself is not a real destination unless you have children. On a hot summer day it is a perfect place for them to cool off in the interactive fountains, which are timed and choreographed to musical numbers. I don't think the Olympics was held at this park, like what the previous tripadvisor thought. There are a bunch of tiles on the pathways with names on them. At first I thought that these tiles had the names of the Olympic participants on them, but when I asked locals, the names were of people who bought a tile there.... more
