My family went to see a show in late Aug.2008 (Ugly Duckling) and we were only a couple minutes late but the theater was a packed full house. There were a few seats separated from each other so we had to split up and sit in different areas, which was fine. Until angry parents were huffing and puffing while we... more

This place vastly exceeded my expectations. We paid $16. admission per person. We saw a fantastic puppet show called "Duke Ellington's Cat". This was not your standard small puppet theater. We sat on long, comfortable cushioned benches with a back. There was a large stage in front of us with an elaborate set decoration that included lighting and moving parts.... more

We went to the Center for Pupperty Arts this weekend to see "The Shoemaker and his Elves" puppet show. I am a HUGE fan of Jim Henson so I guess I'm not really sure what I was expecting when we went. The show was funny, it was difficult to pay attention with the younger children crying and yelling but you... more

As an adult I was not overly impressed with this museum. This is not a ‘celebrity’ puppet museum. I was expecting to see more “famous” puppets like Howdy Doody, Charlie, Muppets, etc. I only recognized one or two. The audio in one area bled into audio in another area which made it very hard to concentrate. Unfortunately we did not... more

The second time I went to a kids puppet show which was awesome. It was about plants and well thought out and fun. It was... more

I took my 6, 10, and almost 14 year old sons, as well as my 60+ parents, to see a show, which they all enjoyed (It was The Shoemaker & the Elves, but set in 1940s NY. My parents-- New Yorkers--and other older folk in the audience very much appreciated the touches of that era that were in the show).... more

We had heard this was an interesting place. We took our kids, ages 8, 11,12 & 15... the 8 year old enjoyed the puppet show a lot. The older kids enjoyed the museum...but they could have missed the puppet show. If you have kids age 3 to 8 this is a great place to take them while in Atlanta. more
