We visited the Georgia Aquarium on the 4th of July with our 3 1/2 and 18 month old children. They seemed to enjoy it, but to me it was a bit of a disappointment. Knowing that it was the world's largest aquarium, I expected it to be really grand. We have been to the aquariums in Chattanooga and in Gatlinburg... more

We went to Georgia Aquarium 7/3. I've been to Boston and Chicago Aquarium and Sea world in Orlando. Georgia Aqurium was so so. Yes, it's new . but I expected more, a lot more.I think we covered the whole place less then 2 hours. I think Chicago was way better. more

admission prices are way to high.not a whole lot of sea=life to look at. parking is a night mare, very expensive.also it is basically first come first served on tickets. you have to arrive early and hope that you can either get to a ticket machine, or a booth before they sell out.. more

Wonderful experience. Was there on Friday, 20 June 2008. Easy to walk around. Can see the 'world' of marine life in about 4 hours. Get there early morning as it does become more crowded as the day goes on. Refreshments (drinks and food) very reasonably priced, more

I attended a conference in Atlanta and my family (husband, daughter (7yrs) and son (3 yrs) were able to join me just this past week. We went to the aquarium on June 27, 2008. The conference hosted a reception at the Aquarium two days before my family planned to attend. Obviously children and spouses weren't invited, so I attended solo... more

While it can be crowded on the weekends or in the middle of the day, I've found the Georgia Aquarium to be a fantastic experience each and every time I've visited. The variety and beauty of the fish and other animals on exhibit can't be touched! No other aquarium in the Southeast can even come close to this one!! I... more

I am a lover of aquariums, and have visited them everywhere I have traveled. This one is right up there at the top, along with the Monterey Bay and the Tennessee. Great exhibits, and good for all ages. Even the food was outstanding for an attraction like this. The whales and the whale sharks are as good as it gets.... more

We went to the aquarium well in town for a wedding. We got there just as it opened in the morning, and for the first hour or so the crowds were not too bad. As the day progressed it became very crowded. There are some very nice things to see and do there. The Whale Sharks were impressive as were... more

My granddaughter gave me the gift of a lifetime for Christmas 2007, a behind-the -scene tour at the Georgia Aquarium for all the family. We were visiting from Seattle, WA, where we have many beautiful aquarium and underwater venues. But never in my life have I experienced anything like this spectacular place. I watched in awe as the giant whale... more

My husband & I visited the aquarium during a recent weekend in Atlanta. The staff was extremely helpful and everyone was extremely friendly. We went at a good time, right at opening on a Sunday morning so we beat the crowd. We were able to see everything in a little over an hour. I guess we were just expecting a... more
