As a "Little Women" fan (both book and movie), I thought this was a great attraction in Concord (which is a very quaint town). The house is where the alcott girls grew up, and where Louisa May Alcott went on to write her famous novel. You pay for a guided tour through the historic home. We did not care for... more

I've been a fan of Louisa May Alcott since I read "Little Women" and "Little Men" as a child. So I was thrilled when a friend suggested we visit her former home during a trip to Concord. We enjoyed our 1+ hour time at the Orchard House. We took the tour through the house which began with a video. Then, we were guided through the house and learned about Louisa and her family. Not suitable for our 4 year old but pleasant and enjoyable for we parents, our preteen boy and teen girl. They referred to some... more
