| With its white sands and beautiful waters, this popular and developed beach attracts families, couples and single travelers looking for a lively vacation in a busy tourist spot. Jet skis, motor boats, vendors, sunbathers and tourists engaged in all kinds of water sports make this beach anything but tranquil. If it is quiet you are after, the less hectic Kalim Bay just to the north of Patong Beach makes for a more relaxing visit. There are also a number of rebuilding projects along the beaches and communities since the tsunami of 2004. |

| Much quieter and a little more secluded than Patong beach is Karon Beach, a simply heavenly stretch of white sand further south along the west coast of Phuket. Its clear, dazzling waters and lush hills make it one of the most idyllic beaches in Thailand. There are a number of open air bars and restaurants along the beach, as well as plenty of tourist activities to enjoy. |

| Just south of Karon Beach is the smaller, secluded Kata Beach, a cozy beach of fine white sand with a backdrop of lush vegetation that stretches up from the coast to the nearby mountains. Its clear, calm waters are perfect for snorkeling and body surfing. |

4. Day 4: Phrompthep Cape
| The southernmost tip of Phuket is a perfect place to see the sun setting on the Andaman Sea. This popular lookout point offers breathtaking views of Patong Beach, Kata beach and Karon Beach. The adjacent Nai Han Beach and Rawai Beach are good for swimming when the waves are calm. |

| The twin islands of Rok Nok south of Phuket offer unspoiled white sand beaches perfect for enjoying the sun and the clear blue waters. You can rent a boat to sail around the islands, or go diving and snorkeling in the vivid corals. |
6. Day 6 : Phi Phi Islands (Koh Phi Phi)
| These two islands boast incredible beauty and fabulous beaches. The popular snorkeling and diving destination has returned to being a bustling tourist area since the tsunami, with most of the dive sites still intact and offering beautiful underwater exploration opportunities. |

| Surrounded by striking rock formations and arresting bluffs, this bay is filled with natural beauty both above and below the water. For an out of the ordinary adventure you can take a guided tour in an inflatable canoe through the limestone caverns, or snorkel around the vibrant coral reef. |
