This is a nice little no-frills hotel for the budget minded weekend traveller. It's close to the Hauptbahnhof (train station) and just a few minutes walk to all the city attractions. Don't forget to take advantage of the inexpensive, but quality breakfast they offer. |

| Start the morning off with a nice leisurely stroll to Marienplatz. There are a wide selection of different shops here, ranging from souvenir shops to the super ritzy ones. At 1100, many will congregate near the Glockenspiel to watch a performance. |

| It's about lunch time. Why not stroll south of Marienplatz and head over to the large outdoor food market. Want a juicy apple or some exotic fruit? How about some curry wurst? This is where you want to go. |

4. Staatliches Hofbrauhaus

| This is the place to spend dinner time. Quite the German experience. Authentic German food, with authentic German beer in German sized mugs. It can get quite rowdy in here at times, but it's all part of the experience. |

5. Dachau Concentration Camp
| On Day Two of your weekend, one must go to the Dachau Concentration Camp memorial. It is a reminder of past attrocities and a warning to all future generations. This journey will put many things into perspective. I recommend taking the Radius tour to Dachau rather than going at it alone. Their office is located near Track 32 in the Hauptbahnhof. They have daily tours at 1100. |
