Getting a chance to see the world, all the fantastic places that are out there. I am not a beach person and going somewhere just for the sun & to lay by a pool or on the beach does nothing for me. When I go on holiday I want to see what that country to offer. We almost need a holiday when we get back, as we usually go to places where you are on the go from early in the morning. I love nature and to see the sights regardless of the weather is doing, for some strange reason I also seem to be drawn to cold snowy places. I love the sun & at every opportunity down tools and get out in to the garden, but when it comes to holidays I want to see what's in that country. 		May 1, 2008

Places to see & do. If you go to Berlin I can highly recommend the Hotel Adlon Kempinski right by the Brandenburg Gate. Monschau in Germany is a really pretty place. Churchill Canada, go see the Polar Bears. Sheraton New York Hotel & Towers great hotel as is the Michelangelo. Away from the noise in Manhattan, try the 3 Bridge Walk, Walk around from Ground Zero – Marina – Battery Park – Pier 17. Loose yourself in Central Park for hours. They are closing our favourite bar ‘Scruffy Duffys’, not happy. Try the Boat House for lunch, & the Campbell Apartments for Cocktails. 		Apr 29, 2008
