What a disaster area! Cobwebs all over the place.....poor little manager must not know what he is doing. Albeit, the owner obviously has no common sense, either. The Taos Mountain Lodge is probably a great place for a family to stay for a ski vacation. The price is right, and the condo is inviting and roomy. We stayed here in the off-season (Sept 04) so it was pretty inexpensive and not crowded at all. It's a beautiful location, about 15 minutes from town and most of the restaurants nearby are closed for the off-season. We loved being far away from things and it was nice to have a big place with two bedrooms and a kitchenette.... more

We have been coming back for years, and have always enjoyed it. This year it notched up to a new level as Patricia and Tom took over, and we experienced first hand the courteousy and attention to detail that seems to come natural for these folks. It's a nice feeling. more
